The 2008 Chinese New Year Food and Cultural Fair is over, and it could not have turned out better! The weather was perfect, and the turn out was huge. Check out the photos from this year's event, and don't forget to check back with us again next year for the Year of the Ox.

The 26th Annual Chinese New Year Food and Cultural Fair hosted by the San Diego Chinese Center, is celebrating the Year of the Rat (Lunar Calendar year 4706).

The festival will take place at the Asian Pacific Thematic Historic District in downtown San Diego (Third Ave. and J Street).

The two-day celebration, will have two stages featuring Chinese acrobats, lion and dragon dancers, Chinese folk dance and music, martial arts, and the Asian Story Theater. Families can also participate in Chinese crafts, Chinese calligraphy, and a children’s activity area. In addition, more than 75 food and vendor booths will be available for the approximately 25,000 visitors expected to attend the fair.
